What is our Return Policy?
Please review or return policy carefully so that in the event something needs to be returned the process goes smoothly. THERE ARE NO RETURNS OF ANY ITEMS IN THE CLOSEOUT SECTION. CERTAIN ITEMS MAY ALSO BE MARKED AS NON RETURNABLE ON THE ITEM PAGE. WE WILL MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THE PAGE IF IT IS A NON RETURNABLE ITEM. When returning, we recommend you buy insurance and get tracking/delivery confirmation on the returned item. We are not responsible for lost or misdirected items returned to us.
It is a 1:1 scale model of a real gun. They are used as a hobby for collecting or for the purposes of skirmishing in friendly competition. Airsoft Guns are by nature safe and non lethal. The guns we sell shoot 6mm plastic BB's usually weighing about .12g.
What are the different types of Airsoft Guns?
There are three main types of Airsoft guns. The ones we mainly sell are the spring cocking, electric operated, and the gas operated.
When did the sport of Airsoft begin?
The idea of Airsoft Guns started in Japan in the 80’s . Since it was illegal to own a firearm, gun enthusiasts then started manufacturing exact replicas of the real thing. The sport of Airsoft rapidly took off and it is now popular all over the world. There are many examples of organized war games with the use of these Airsoft products. A properly played game that involves skill, speed, strategy, and tactics is a great way to enjoy and learn how to use a gun in a safe manner.
What kind of BB's should I use?
We only sell high quality Airsoft Guns and you should only use high quality BB's. Poor quality BB's can be found at sporting goods stores and should not be used. Using high quality BB's is critical to the long term health of your Arsoft Guns.
What are the safety precautions?
Full face protection is highly recommended in the use of all Airsoft Guns. Gloves and a vest should also be worn to insure proper safety. Follow all established safety rules in proper Airsoft activity. You should always transport your Airsoft Guns in the original container with the safety on. You must NEVER ever remove or cover up the orange tip of your airsoft gun.
Always store your Airsoft Gun uloaded and out of the reach of children.
FPS means feet per second. It is the velocity of the BB as it leaves the barrel.
A Hop-Up system puts an upwards spin on the BB as it goes down the barrel. This reduces the affects of gravity to increase the flight time and range of the BB. This spin will stop the BB from curving up or diving down at the end of its trajectory through the barrel.
How is an Airsoft Gun distinguished from a real gun?
It is required by federal law that the first 5MM of the barrel of any Airsoft Gun has a blaze orange marking on it, or has it molded in orange plastic. Any change or removal of the orange markings is both dangerous and a violation of federal law. It is also a great way to give the local law enforcement officials a break.
